Barwon River Holiday Park is proudly the ONLY family owned and operated holiday park in Geelong - by 2nd generation Marc and Kathryn Garrow, who have been operating the park now for 15 years. Ray and Lyn Garrow began this family venture over 35 years ago.

We are conveniently located only 2km from Geelong’s CBD and Waterfront Geelong, nestled on the banks of the Barwon River. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, beautiful natural attractions and wildlife on offer.
Our park’s quality shines through from the moment you arrive – clean, updated amenities with baby bath and change facilities, family all mobility access bathroom and a range of accommodation options to suit everyone. Accommodation options range from poolside villas and budget cabins, through to ensuite sites and lush green, shady, powered caravan and tent sites. We can accommodate and assist you with group bookings of all sizes.
Our holiday park is the perfect base from which to explore Geelong and it’s surrounds.
T&Cs
Hours
Milk, ice, drinks, ice creams, LPG swaps and a small range of grocery and miscellaneous items are available at Reception during office hours (8am - 7pm).
Camp kitchen & amenities
Access to the Camp Kitchen & Amenities is via a push button keypad. The code is obtainable from Reception. We ask that all guests keep the facilities tidy for everyone’s enjoyment.
Swimming pool
Opening hours: 8am - 7pm*. No glass or alcohol in pool area. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors of park guests must report to Reception prior to using the swimming pool. *Not heated during winter.
Laundry
Washing machines, dryers and washing powder are available in the laundry. All machines are $1 coin operated. You will require 4 x $1 coins per wash cycle. Change is available from Reception (during office hours).
Clotheslines
Clotheslines are available next to the laundry.
Bicycles, scooters and GoKarts
Helmets are required to be worn while riding bicycles, scooters and GoKarts within the park. Helmets are available from Reception if you do not have one with you (a refundable deposit may apply). Pedal GoKarts arts may be hired from Reception for use between 8.30am - 6.30pm. A parent or guardian must be there to hire and supervise all persons under 18 years of age.
Powered sites
Sites are available to occupy from 2pm with a 10am departure. A Site consists of 1 caravan/tent, 1 car, 1-2 people.
Additional charges apply for extra people, tents, etc. Maximum people per site is six.
Cabins
Cabins are available to occupy from 2pm on the day of arrival, with a 10am check out on your last day. Please leave your cabin clean and tidy. You are responsible for breakages or damages caused by you or your visitors.
Early departures, Cancellation & Refund Policy
After arrival there will be no refunds. Cancellations advised with 21 days or more notice are fully refundable, less a AUD $30 administration fee - per cabin or site booked. Cancellations advised with less than 21 days notice will only be given a refund, less the AUD $30 administration fee, per cabin or site - if the entire cancelled period can be re-booked. Cancellations received with less than 7 days notice will not receive any refund.

Behaviour
Please respect your fellow holiday makers’ rights to peaceful enjoyment of our park. Music should be kept to a minimum and cease by 10pm. No unnecessary noise from 10pm - 8am. If you are concerned by unnecessary noise or unacceptable behaviour please report to management by calling 5243 3842 or use the intercom on the front window of Reception. Drunkenness, offensive behaviour and rowdiness will not be tolerated. You are responsible for the people staying on your site or in your cabin. Management has the right to terminate your stay for any breach or undesirable conduct.
Rubbish
General rubbish and recycling bins are located throughout the park: Blue = Rubbish; Yellow = Recycling.
Pets
Pets are NOT allowed in the park.
Visitors
Visitors must register at Reception, additional fees may apply.
Accessible facilities
A unisex/family bathroom which also features low mobility access for guests with special needs. If you require the use of these facilities, please see Reception between 8am - 7pm for access.
Smoking
No smoking within 10 metres of any facilities where children are present. This includes all playgrounds, jumping pillow and the swimming pool.
Replacement linen
Guests staying in holiday cabins for an extended period (more than 5 nights) will receive a free towel and linen change. Additional cleaning services can also be arranged (fees apply). Please see Reception for more information.
Vehicles, parking & speed limit
We kindly ask that vehicles be parked on the driveway beside each cabin/caravan/tent and not on the roadways. Please remember for the safety of all guests there is a strict walking pace speed limit within our park.
